Zeke took his first steps on Friday. Below is a video taken on Friday. Today he took ten steps! Jimmy and I think it’s so exciting to see him walking on his own! He’s so young to be walking, but he’s pretty coordinated. His birthmom Sam walked at 9 months too. Everyone keeps telling us to watch out because he can get into so much more once he starts walking, but we can’t imagine that it would be any trickier than it is now. He can already crawl very fast and pull up to things. Maybe we’ll understand in a few weeks…
Lucy was an early walker too, she started at nine months. You will soon see that they can start getting into a lot more, but it is so much fun for them to be walking that it is worth it. Congrats Zeek,

How exciting! he beat kaitlyn, she took her first steps the day she turned 10 months. it if makes you feel better, walking didn’t change much of what she could get into – she was already getting into everything! so fun for you guys!
I love Zeke. He is one of the happiest babies I’ve ever seen. Walking seems so far away from what Emily is doing right now, but we’re loving all the little things she does do as I am sure you are with Zeke. Congrats on the early walking.
SO FUN! Good job, Zeke! I am so excited for you guys. Jack is walking too…well, he still falls down a lot, but he gets a good 3 to 4 steps in on his own before going down.
That is so fun! He walks so fast too! Adelaide just started too and its a lot more wobbly and not nearly as fast. That’s great!
