My Sweetheart

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

I wanted to do a special Valentine’s Day post about Jimmy, but I couldn’t wait so I’ll do it now. There are so many things I love about Jimmy, but I’ll just name a few of my most favorite things about him.

* I love his great sense of humor. Jimmy comes up with the strangest things to do to make me laugh, and he succeeds everyday.

* He’s creatively romantic

He makes me the sweetest homemade cards for special occasions

For my 21st birthday he wrapped my presents in our kissy lips sheets and used his neck ties for bows because we didn’t have any wrapping paper or ribbon.

* Jimmy sings to me, and he will even learn love ballads on the piano and play and sing them to me.

* Jimmy is a stud, I love his blue eyes and his dimples, he’s so handsome!

* Jimmy is honest, and I love that about him!

* He is patient and gentle.

* Jimmy is a hard worker, and he does quality work.

He painted my parents’ whole large family room and entry, even the ceilings!

* I love how Jimmy enjoys watching “I Love Lucy” with me, we have all of the seasons on DVD. We watch 2 episodes almost every night when Zeke goes to bed, and I love laughing together. I’m glad he doesn’t just think I’m cheesy for liking old shows.

* I LOVE watching Jimmy with Zeke. He’s so cute and fun with him. Zeke loves to play and wrestle with his daddy, and it makes me so happy to have such a wonderful husband who is an equally wonderful father.

I am so thankful for Jimmy and all he does. He is everything I ever dreamed of and more! I love you so much babe!

Welcome to Zeke’s house

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

I love having little traces of Zeke all around the house! From seeing his little slobber marks on the windows and appliances to finding toys in every nook and cranny, it’s so great to have a baby house. He is becoming more and more interested in his toys now too, which makes it even more fun. Before, he had little interest in toys, but he loved playing with the VCR, Daddy’s laptop, and corded things. Here are some pictures of Zeke and his toys.

First visit to the Roof Restaurant

Monday, January 14th, 2008

One word sums up our first experience to the Roof…WOW! The food, the views, the atmosphere, and most especially, the desserts were all amazing! We went with Samantha (Zeke’s birthmom) and her family. It was so awesome, and Zeke loved it too. He ate so much, and surprisingly kept most of it down. I loved seeing the Salt Lake Temple from such a neat viewpoint! Thanks again Sam for inviting us, it was so much fun!

Zeke is serious about his food!

I love this one of Sam and Zeke, and you can kind of see Zeke’s little chocolate mustache too

My favorites were the white chocolate mousse pie, and the chocolate mint cake. For anyone who’s been there, I’d love to hear what your favorites are, and if you haven’t been there, then go because it is so neat!
