Lava Hot Springs

January 5th, 2008

We went to Lava Hot Springs with some family, and had a great time! Shirley and Grant rented a whole house for us all to stay in. They found a winter special for only $125.00/night. The house slept 10 adults. We had 12 people there, but Zeke had his pack-n-play crib, and Evan shared a bed, so it worked out perfectly. The hot springs are so nice in the winter. The town was sure vacant too, we hear it gets more crowded in the summer. Zeke didn’t come into the hot pools, he stayed at the house with Grandma and Grandpa. We did see an eight-month old baby girl in hot pools, and a few toddlers. It just seems so hot, and it kind of hurts right when you get in because your body is cold, and the water so hot. It sure is therapeutic in the wintertime though.
