Fun time in Wyoming

Monday, April 28th, 2008

We loved going to Wyoming last week for Zeke’s birth mom, Samantha’s, wedding! Here are some pictures of the highlights of the trip…

The awesome log cabin we stayed in.

The buffalo that were right outside our cabin. This one really scared all of us, we went to look at it, and it came charging over to the fence, luckily it stopped. Zeke still looks scared in the picture, but he kept wanting to go back and look at them.

Zeke loved playing on the stairs. Jimmy said he looked like Han Solo with his vest.

I love this one of Sam and Andy!

They were both so sweet to each other with the cake. Jimmy and I both like it best when the couple doesn’t smash the cake in their new spouse’s face.

It was really fun being a bridesmaid with Katie, and the flowers were so pretty!

All you can eat goodness! Great job with the food Sam and Andy!

Quick and Easy!

Ingredients:

2- 8 count Pillsbury original grand size bicuits

2 eggs

1 cup ham

1/2-3/4 cup shredded cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 and grease muffin tin. Combine ham, cheese and eggs. Place one biscuit in each muffin hole, making a well by gently pushing in the center of the biscuit. Spoon ham mixture into each biscuit. Bake 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Makes about 5-8 servings. (For 1-3 people, half the recipe)

100% Boy!

Monday, April 21st, 2008

Zeke is a go-getter when it comes to things he wants, and he has discovered his teeth can help him in many different ways.

He fixed himself some Ramen noodles for dinner one night

100-boy-4.jpg

He tried to get the chocolate cake out of the box for dessert.

Then, decided a chocolate bunny would do, tin foil and all.

100-boy-8.jpg

Zeke keeps his little chompers sharp by sharpening them on the window sill in his playroom.

Lately, Zeke has been showing off his manly strength with these tricks too….

100-boy-5.jpg

He pulled the front off of the DVD player tray

100-boy-6.jpg

He scratched this hole in our bathroom wall with his bare hands!

100-boy-9.jpg

He pulled the bow off of Mommy’s purse, and learned how to unzip it, both in the same shopping trip!

And he broke part of the handle completely off of my curio cabinet using his big muscles. I keep the string around the handles so he can’t get to the fragile things inside, but it won’t be long before he has that figured out too :-P
