Like father like son

Jimmy is an awesome drummer, and maybe Zeke will be too! Zeke loves his uncle Carlin’s new “Rock Band” game that you can get for the Sony Playstation 2. His favorite was the drumming.

Jimmy said he almost has the “traditional grip” in this shot, too bad the stick is backwards though :-)

(don’t tell uncle Joe Zeke was drumming on his stereo)

He really got into it!

They grow so fast!

These are pictures from last May. Zeke was 2 months old, and as you can see, so photogenic! I miss those days, but I love these days too. Sometimes I wish I could zap him back to a baby for an hour or two, he just grew up so fast. Thank goodness for pictures and memories.

I love this one because it shows just how Zeke was – always smiling, with spit-up on him, and always clenching his left fist.

Such a happy little guy!

Zeke with his cousin Dallin (who is only 3 months older than Zeke, which is so fun!)

We love you Zeke, and we are so proud of all your accomplishments! Keep being you!

First time to Boise and Nampa

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

Jimmy’s secondary employer, Rich, flew us to Boise last weekend to meet his family in Nampa.

Jimmy and Zeke in the Salt Lake Airport. Our flight was delayed 2 hours, so we were there for 3 hours!

Luckily the Salt Lake Airport has this fun play area for kids. Jimmy and I made guesses as to how long Zeke would last in the play area, Jimmy guessed 4 minutes, and I guessed 2 minutes…..

….I was closer, he lasted about a minute and a half! He preferred the moving sidewalks, and following the lady who was vacuuming, over the play area.

Rich’s daughter, Annie, and Zeke. I loved meeting all of Rich’s children, but the girls were my favorite. Annie is 12 and Tess is 8.

Zeke was so good with being soft with the kittens.

We drove to the Snake River in a place called Marsing, Zeke wanted to get right in the river, but it didn’t look too sanitary.

It was a great little trip, we were very impressed Nampa, and what we saw of Boise, it was a lot warmer than we expected it to be. We figured it would be colder because it was further north than here, but we didn’t take into consideration that the elevation was a lot lower there.

P.S.- If you are ever in that area, go to Chapala’s to eat, it was sooo good!
