Daddy and Zeke played our Hymn together.
We had a little lesson on God’s animals, specifically reptiles and amphibians, and then went to Petco to see them in real life.
Zeke’s favorite part about Petco was pushing their tiny carts.
He did so well maneuvering between the isles and displays, Jimmy and I were so impressed!
After Petco, we walked over to Jamba Juice, Zeke was so happy, (I think he recognized it from the last time we went.) He was dancing and being so cute!
He loved his “Strawberries Dreamin’” thanks for recommending it Becky!
I’ll admit, we don’t always do such fun FHE’s, usually we just sing a quick primary song, pray, and have a 1-minute lesson, (because that’s how long Zeke’s attention lasts), but it’s fun to do more creative activities once in a while too. :)

Thank you for being honest about not doing all fun FHE’s. I was looking at this post and was like, “Wow! I need to be better about doing more creative FHE’s like Esther!” Yep, we mostly do the same 1-minute lessons too, or go for a walk to the temple and talk about that or “the creation.”
This is so cute! What a fabulous idea.
We also do short lessons — sometimes we just do “singing FHEs” (which, for Logan, means dancing-around-the-room FHEs). I think the most important thing is to get in the habit!
I love being creative like that! It may not sound as great on paper, but everyone has a fun time.
Yes, our blog is private. But I do update everyday, just in case you wanted to know.
You are so good. I need to be better about family home evenings now, especially since Boston is getting older. He is so cute!
That is such a cute lesson idea… I like that it looked like it was so fun and pretty inexpensive as well.
This is such a great idea! I think we are going to steel it1
