When we were at a party at Jimmy’s grandparents’ home a few weeks ago, Zeke and his cousin Dallin both loved pushing around Makayla’s pink stroller. We were talking about how boys love to push strollers around too, and how they should make strollers for boys. I wasn’t able to find a manly stroller, but I did find a blue one, just ignore the pretty flowers on it.

Okay, so I guess I know why they don’t make these strollers for boys. Zeke loves to ram it into things, especially our porch swing. He would laugh when the swing would hit the stroller with his gorilla in it and tip it over. The wheels are already wobbely, I think it’s only a matter of weeks until they fall off :)
As we talked about at the playgroup last week…I agree with your post. Kenny wouldn’t let me get Camden a stroller so we got him a grocery cart. Sooo cute!
Caleb has a doll stroller too! It took us forever to find a blue one, all I could find was pink and purple in stores so I got Caleb’s off of e-bay. He puts trucks in there and calls them his “babies”.

I bought a stroller for Logan (they had a plaid green one at Wal-Mart … but that was two years ago; do they not sell those anymore??) and Joshua uses it all the time now!

And, while I don’t regret buying the stroller, I have to agree that boys just aren’t quite so “nurturing” … Joshua will carry the baby doll (I bought it to go in the stroller) around in his mouth. By the head. :-O
I think kids like all sorts of toys — Greta loves trains and cars for example. Why wouldn’t a little boy like a stroller or grocery cart? Sure, boys may not wants to dress a doll in a pink dress, but they still enjoy doing all sorts of things and figuring stuff out! How cute! I love all your pictures. You guys are great.
Jackson still loves to push our stroller around. Such a fun, easy, entertaining toy to have!
