Zeke and I were having a fun day playing outside in our neighborhood. We were looking down at the horsies through the fence by the swings, and suddenly I smelled something awful. I always look where I step, and survey the area where Zeke will be stepping too, but somehow I missed a spot. Zeke had a huge pile of mushy green dog doo-doo on his shoe!! I was so disgusted! We tried to scrape it off in the street, but it was too soft. We went home, and I took off Zeke’s shoes and left them outside. I had to take off his pants too because some got on them, so I put Zeke inside and I went out to scrape off some of the big clumps with a stick. When I came back in, I found this…
Zeke still had his diaper on, and he was saying, “poo-poo” It made me laugh, and it almost made the whole ordeal worth it :)
I washed his hands, and then spent the next half hour washing out every crevice of Zeke’s shoe. I used an old tooth brush, and a safety pin to make sure I got it all before putting the shoe in my washing machine. Then I sanitized the sink. I am so paranoid about germs from animal messes! Please pick up your doggie’s mess when it goes in public places, especially near parks.

Gosh, Zeke is cute.
I hate when people don’t clean up after their dog’s doo-doo, too. It’s the law to clean it up here besides being a rule at our apartment complex, and they give out free bags at every dumpster to clean it up with, and yet it’s still all over the place. :-P
Agreed! There are too many doggie messes around here. Sometimes when I am feeling mean I want to set up a camera to spy and figure out where they come from.
Good job Zeke on the potty!
Then I guess I won’t tell you the story of when Rose ate some of a deer’s droppings. She thought they were chocolate covered raisins. Luckily the nurse that I quickly phoned said she’d be ok.
How cute! I love the pictures!
That’s too cute. :)
Those pictures are to dang cute! That is so funny that he went to the toilet!! haha He has the cutest smile! To bad that you had to step in poo!
I’ll second your plea to others to pick up after their dogs. Zeke has such a great smile! What cute pictures. Kids love toilet paper, don’t they!
There’s some dog in our neighborhood that always poops in our park-strip. It makes Josh SO angry everytime he mows.
Anyway, the pictures are cute. It looks like Zeke will be thrilled when you start toilet training!
