We took a quick trip up to Lava Hot Springs on Friday. We like to go every year, and we usually rent out a home to stay in with lots of family. Last year Zeke stayed at the house with Grandma and Grandpa while we went into the hot pools. We saw a baby younger than him in them, but we didn’t think it would be a good idea to take him. This year, we still weren’t sure if he would like them, but we decided to give it a try. Guess what…he liked them!
We stayed in this pool the whole time, it wasn’t as hot as the others.

I found Zeke doing a little knitting after dinner. (PS Shirley- Don’t show Kaela this picture.)
The unicorns
Check out these pictures from last year. Zeke was only almost 10 months old, and already climbing like a monkey!
Curious as ever back then too! He looks so much the same, but he has changed a lot also. What a guy!
Has anyone else been to Lava Hot Springs? We highly recommend it!

We LOVE Lava Hot Springs. We used to go all the time when we were dating and first married. We want to take the kids but thought we would wait a little longer with Emerson. Oh, we love the pizza place. Hopefully it is still there. So many memories…thanks for the post. P.S. I love zeke’s blue eyes!!! He is soooo cute.
How fun! I’ve never been to anything like it. I’m sure Brian will insist on going when he sees your post, especially since Zeke went in. He can tell me all his hot spring stories from growing up in Idaho.
That sounds like so much fun. Zeke is so cute in all his personality.
