Jimmy and I went to St. George last Friday and Saturday to see the homes in the parade down there. We had so much fun, but it was weird going somewhere without Zeke. We missed him, but he had so much fun with cousins at Aunt Shirlley’s and Grandma’s houses.
A lot of the homes were very different, they seemed like space homes, or adobes.
We loved the red sandy tones of St. George, and the views were so beautiful!
Seeing all of the neat pools was a lot of fun!

We almost bought this house, but we decided it was just a little over the top ;-) Check out some of its features…
In the basement it had a half size basketball court, rock climbing wall, golf putting green, and not shown in this picture was a racquetball court, and two home gyms, all in the basement! The whole house felt like a theme park, it was really fun to walk through!
The pool reminded us of the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. Back in the cave, there is a hot tub, and a theater room! We thought this house was definitely the coolest of all at the parade this year.
We were planning on attending the St. George Temple, but it was closed for maintenance. So we were only able to take pictures. Neither of us have been inside it, and we were excited to go, I guess we’ll try again next time.
The St. George Temple is “our” temple! I’ve only been in it a few times, but it is really beautiful.
Wow–it all looks AMAZING. When Kevin’s parents were realtors down there, Kevin and I would go into the model homes and pretend they were ours! Playing house is fun.

Fun pictures, we went to many of the same homes. It is crazy to imagine living in some of them. I love the St. George Temple, you will have to go, if you get the chance, its beautiful.

Isn’t st george beautiful? My parents live down there and work in the temple! They love it! Looks like you had a blast! I think that is great that just you and Jimmy went. Sometimes it is so nice to just focus on eachother for a couple days :)
What a fun thing to do! I love looking at what others do with their houses. I get lots of ideas for what I want in the future.
