We had a great Easter holiday season, and lots of family fun!

Zeke’s Grandma Charlotte came Saturday morning and brought some treats and fun things for Zeke. She gave him this McQueen bop bag, McQueen rain boots, a butterfly catching net, and a fun book called “Cowlicks”. She finds really neat toys and tastey treats!

Daddy made a puddle with the hose for Zeke to splash in with his new boots.

Jimmy’s family has a tradition of throwing the hard boiled eggs down a park hill. We’ve done it every year, and it’s starting to grow on me. At first I thought it was a little strange, but it’s a lot of fun!

We finished our Easter Sunday at Jimmy’s Grandparetnts’ house, it was fun with all the cousins and extended family!

I love our family! They are so great, and so fun to be with!

My sister’s home on the range

We had a fun visit with my oldest sister Adela and her family at her house a week ago. She has lots of horses of all sizes and colors.

kanosh-01

This is one of her mini horses. Adela spends hours each day outside with her minis, and she has a video monitor to watch them when they are about to have babies. She helps deliver the baby because sometimes they can’t get out on their own.

kanosh-05

These are Belgian horses.

My sister has an authentic wagon, it’s fun to go for a wagon ride when we visit.

I feel like Laura on “Little House on the Prairie”.

Jimmy thought he was going to die on this horse ride. When they were running really fast, his foot came out of the stirrup! He’s on the second horse in this picture. I’m thankful everyone was ok!

My mom did an Easter egg hunt for the kids, Zeke found 4 eggs.

My youngest niece Makenna, (who is 2), and Zeke. Zeke had a blast the whole trip because we saw and did lots of  his favorite things- animals, motorcycles, treats, cousins, and lots of time in the great outdoors!

My niece Marissa, and I had so much fun on the teeter totter! It’s hard to capture in the picture, but we got spinning around fast!

Everything to Me

(I’m not very skilled at posting videos on my blog, but if you click on the link above, it will take you to the song and music video.)

My friend LeMira, (who is also on the adoption waiting list), posted this song on her blog. I love a good song about adoption, and this one was written and sung by Mark Schultz who was adopted as an infant.
