It was so fun that Halloween was on a Saturday this year, it was awesome having Jimmy home all day! He got some cute pictures of the little BYU fans before naps-

I bought this BYU cheer uniform a long time ago, and I recently found it in my storage things. I was so excited to see Lilly in it!

Zeke put on his BYU football uniform too.

My high school cheer uniform is the wrong colors, but I’m just glad I can still squeeze into it :) This was my Senior year cheer outfit, and it’s also my favorite.

I love this one of Lillian!

Go Cougars!

Zeke and his cousin Dallin at Grandma’s house at our Halloween party a few weeks ago. Kirty and I coincidentally both got monkey costumes for our boys!

Lilly with her princess wand

Jimmy and I didn’t get costumes in time, so we went as high school sweethearts. I wore my Sophomore year cheerleading outfit, and I’m thinking that was the last time I’ll wear it, it was pretty tight!

Lilly looks so darling in this one! The rest of our little family didn’t look that great so I just cropped us out.

Zeke loved trick-or-treating! His bucket got so full and heavy, but he wanted to carry it the whole time.
Zeke has been excited about going to the witch’s house for weeks! (Jimmy’s mom is a real witch on Halloween, and Jimmy made up a bedtime story about Zeke and Evan trick-or-treating on Halloween, and finding a mean witch. In the story they make this pink witch powder to throw on the witch, and then Poof!, she disappears.) So after Zeke’s nap on Halloween, Zeke and Jimmy made this special pink witch powder to throw on the witch, and Zeke told everyone about it all day.
When we got to the withch’s house that night, Zeke looked a little nervous holding his witch powder as we walked up to the front door. Jimmy was holding him, and the witch came right up and started talking to him. Zeke wacked the witch in the face with the whole bag of powder, and when she didn’t disappear, (like in Jimmy’s story), Zeke burried his face into Jimmy’s shoulder, and cried. We had to modify the story and say that the powder turned the witch nice, instead of making her poof away. He warmed up to the witch, and had lots of fun with her before she rode off on her broom.

It was a great Halloween! Each year is more, and more fun as Zeke gets older, and is able to remember these fun traditions, and gets excited about them.
