Guess who is 9 months old today…our little Lilly~Belle!
We took her to her 9 month well child visit, and the doctor said that she had a double ear infection! It wasn’t too inflamed yet, but it would have been in a few more days. We got an antibiotic for her, so hopefully her ears will clear up soon, poor baby! She weighed in at 19.8 pounds (75th percentile), and was 29 inches long (95th percentile).

Jimmy likes to carry Lilly around like this, and he loves that she is so content to just be held :) Lilly gets so excited when she hears her daddy come home from work each day, she smiles so cute, and claps her hands!
Although Lilly is a daddy’s girl, she’s also Mommy’s angel!

Recent favorite Zeke moments…
Zeke is potty trained! He woke up a week ago, and said he wanted to wear underwear, and has done so well since! I bought 18 undies for him in May, and tried potty training him for one day. He wasn’t ready, and he asked for his diapers back. I kept hoping he’d be ready, and attempted a few other times to potty train, but it wasn’t until it was his idea that he was successful. Last week, he put on 12 of his 18 underpants, it was so funny to see him walk with them on! I just kept hoping he wouldn’t have an accident with all of them on :)
Zeke wanted to try on Lilly’s pants. I said ok, and was surprised to see him actually get them on all by himself!
We call this a “natural disaster” because there is no way you can stage a mess like this :) It takes our little sweety about 20 minutes to create this mess during nap time/bedtime.
It takes me about 5 minutes to get it looking like this again. Sometimes I make him clean it, and that takes about 45 minutes. We usually do it together, and that takes us 15 minutes.

I captured this moment yesterday during Zeke’s nap time. He heard the camera flash, and after I showed him the picture he said, “That’s a great picture Mom!” He’s so cute! I love my fun little guy!!
