We had our family Valentine party on Saturday, it was a blast! Grandma Z is a pro at fun parties for kids! She plans holiday themed games, activities, and treats!

I loved Lilly’s little Valentine outfit! I usually don’t get Zeke a valentine shirt because red is not his color, it washes him out. I love Zeke in blues, greens, browns, some yellows, and grays.

A secret Valentine rings the doorbell at Grandma’s and leaves a Valentine surprise for everybody on the doorstep.

Lilly was so nice to give her treats to her big brother since she couldn’t have them this year :)

This Valentines day I’m posting my feelings about my Queen Esther (this is Jimmy).

Enchanting -adjective

You do have an enchanting smile. You are beautiful.

Nice -adjective

• amiably pleasant; kind
• refined in manners, language, etc.
• carefully neat in dress, habits, etc.

Even the definition doesn’t find all of the ways which describe your niceness. You bring cheer to everyone’s  lives you touch. Nobody would argue that you are one of the kindest people in the whole world. I love this about you.

Thoughtful -adjective

• showing consideration for others; considerate

I’m constantly amazed at how you go out of your way to give compliments to others. You find those who need a little extra encouragement in a day. You are always sincere.

Intelligent -adjective

• having good understanding or a high mental capacity
• displaying or characterized by quickness of understanding, sound thought, or good judgment

You know I’m jealous of your amazing ability to remember things. How in the world do you remember the routing number of our checking account? How do you memorize all of the credit card numbers, driver license numbers, license plates, phone numbers, and names and ages of peoples’ children that you’ve met only a few times? Wow! You are amazing!

Nurturing -verb (nurture)

• to feed and protect
• to bring up; train; educate

I could not ask for a better mother for my children. You are the best!

Elegant -adjective

• tastefully fine or luxurious in dress, style, design, etc.
• graceful in form or movement
• excellent; fine; superior

Elegant was definitely the word that came to mind as I first saw you walking across campus. “Elegant” (and “hottie“).

You are GORGEOUS!

Here’s what we’ve been up to…

I got a hair cut.. I like this picture because you can see my babies’ pictures on the wall behind me. I love coming downstairs and seeing those pictures each day!

We tried out Buca di Beppo restaurant in Salt Lake. The things we ordered were pretty good. I did my mom’s and sister’s hair :)

We went to the BYU/ U of U game, and ate at the BYU Creamery Grill. I know I always say this, but we love going down to BYU campus, and reminiscing!

I love watching Zeke eat hamburgers!

This is where it all began, in room 3290 for Social Dance 180! We met in February 2003, and that day Jimmy asked me to be his dance partner for the upcoming Cha-Cha competition, and the rest is wonderful history ;)

Zeke was afraid of being so high up at the game, so he sat on Jimmy’s lap the majority of it, and held his admission ticket.
