This darling girl is in no hurry to crawl, or roll over. She has rolled over a few times, but not a lot. This is how she gets what she wants…
…she reaches, and reaches far!
Lilly is so flexible! Sometimes she gets stuck once she’s down, and other times she just swings her legs behind her so she’s on her tummy.
Jimmy and I decorated the house the night before Zeke’s birthday. Jimmy spent 3 1/2 hours on the R2-D2 drawing for a bean bag toss game :) He rounded up a lot of round objects to make the circles on R2. We finished up a little after 1 am, and got to bed shortly after that. We were tired, but it was so worth it!
When Zeke woke up and came downstairs, he was so happy and excited! He said, “I didn’t know you did that!” He loved the streamers, and R2, and everything! He is a lot of fun to surprise because he appreciates it so much.

We met my sister and her kids at Gymcats. They had a blast! Zeke followed his cousins around, and wanted to do everything they were doing.

Zeke took a little cat nap, and soon after he woke up, Sammi came over to decorate his cake! Zeke got to be the taste tester :)
Party time! My 2nd youngest brother Kevin, his girl friend Gaby, and Lilly eating dinner. Kevin won’t be here next year, we’re not sure where he’ll be yet, but he turned in his mission papers on Zeke’s birthday!
(We always do a just a family party in our club house. Maybe next year I’ll start doing friend parties? I was considering one this year, but decided to hold off another year or two. Zeke has so many friends! I starting making a guest list for a friends party, and there were about 40 kids I would want to invite!)

The kids earned light sabers, (aka glow sticks), from the R2 toss, and Zeke didn’t want to put his down.
We got a pull string pinata, but Zeke wanted to take a few whacks at it first

He was so proud :) I loved watching him be so happy! His cake was the biggest thing he was looking forward to about his birthday.

It’s hard to believe our baby boy is already 3 years old

Just a few days old. I could stare at that perfect little face all day long!
1 month – April 5, 2007 I didn’t do the monthly signs with Zeke, but I took pictures of him by his care bear to show Sammi how big he was getting in relation to the bear. (We gave her a pink care bear that was the same size.)

3 months How I wish I could go back in time and hold my baby boy again when he was so tiny!

7 months – crawling
8 months – pulling up to a stand in his crib, and on furniture
9 months – learned to walk this month which really kept my busy :)
10 months – this one is unbelievable, he was only ten months old, and walking with his big care bear!
11 months – picking out which cookies to make for dessert

Zeke you are so awesome! You make life so fun, and always keep us laughing! We love you so, so much! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you, and we think you are the smartest, cutest little boy in the world! Happy 3rd birthday!
