Lilly had a very happy birthday! I think she knew it was her special day. I was so excited for her to wake up this morning, and see her decorations!

We had a fun family party tonight. The house was packed, there were 29 of us here to celebrate Lilly’s 1st birthday!

We played Snow White’s poison apple game. Jimmy had the black bag with the poison apple, and a regular apple in it. The kids took turns trying to get the regular apple, and every kid got the poison apple their first try! Most of them got it their second time around too, and we thought maybe Jimmy rigged it, and put 2 poison apples in it with no regular apples. It took a lot of tries, but finally each kid chose the regular apple, and earned their prize bag.
We also had everyone write down their guess of the value of Lilly’s weight in gold, (Note: This wasn’t measuring her worth in gold, that would not be possible, she is PRICELESS! We were measuring the value of her weight in gold ;) Lilly weighs 20 pounds, and the rate of gold today was $39.0096 per gram. 20 pounds is 9071.85 grams so Lilly’s weight in gold would equal $353,899.24. My dad got the closest on that guess. We also had them guess how many tiaras tall Lilly was. She is 8 1/2 tiaras tall, Kirty won that guess.

It was so funny to see her concerned about her messy hands. She hasn’t ever cared before, but then again, I don’t think she’s ever had her hands this messy.

I’ve been waiting months to see her in these ballerina jammies, and she was even cuter than I had pictured her in them!
Lilly heard me say “prayer” while I was talking, and she folded her arms for a prayer! What a sweetie pie! It was a great day! We are so thankful for our princess!
