Jimmy * Esther * Zeke * Lilly

I have always dreamed of having a pink little girl’s room, and I love how Lilly’s turned out! I planned it all out, and bought all of the supplies, and Jimmy and my brother took a few evenings to get the planks on the walls, and do the chair rail. On Saturday, Jimmy started working on her room at 9:30am, and he didn’t finish until midnight! Carlin helped paint for a few hours, and when the kids were in bed, I helped too. It took so long because we needed to do 4 coats of each color to cover the old paint! I was determined to finish it on Saturday so that we wouldn’t have to wait until Monday night to get it done. Way to go Jimmy for working so hard!

I need to reorder the vinyl lettering for her wall, I think I’ll add in some of the green color in her valance, and some purple flowers since her toddler bed will have those colors too.

She’s getting pretty good at somersaults :)

Peek-a-boo!

I really like our new house, but I don’t like the paint we chose. It looks fine in the natural light, but in the florescent light, or in pictures, it looks ugly. I eventually want to paint every room, but the first room I decided to paint was Zeke’s.

I chose to do light blue and dark blue, and I love how it turned out!

The new paint colors even make his toys look more fun, and exciting :)

Lilly’s room is next, and I have big plans for it!
