2 pics for now

Monday, January 17th, 2011

It seems like it’s hard for me to blog in the beginning of the year. I need to do a few new posts, but for now, I will just put up these two pictures…

My baby boy is a Sunbeam! This is him on his first day of primary. On one hand he seems too little to be a sunbeam to me, but he also seems too old to be in nursery still. His poor teacher has lots of boys with a lot of energy, so we’ve been practicing how to act in primary at home. We set up chairs, and either Jimmy and I pretend to be the teacher. Last Sunday Zeke was the pretend teacher,  it was very cute to watch him teach us about Jesus :) BTW, have you checked out the new lds.org yet? I loved the old site, and it has all the same great things, and some new features that are really cool. I use it a lot for preparing my Young Women lessons.

One night we were playing hide-and-seek. I was it, and this is what I found :)

Little Vader on the Prairie

Lilly loves to go get the Darth Vader helmet and wear it. When she puts it on backwards, it looks like a bonnet :)

One day, we heard Lilly singing, it sounded a lot like the Darth Vader song on Star Wars, and sure enough it was because when she walked into the room, she was wearing the vader helmet. It was a very proud moment for her daddy!

Here’s a video of Lilly singing the Imperial March…
