Lilly and Zeke with their Easter gifts from their grandparents in North Dakota

Grandma Linda chose out some really fun things! They loved the window clings! Lilly wanted to wear her sunglasses while putting up her flowers.

On Easter morning, Lilly found her basket behind the palm tree.

The Easter Bunny hid Zeke’s in a trickier spot.

Lilly and Zeke pulling the same funny face :)

Lilly really wanted her chocolate bunny out!

We matched for a few hours… till I put Lilly in her second Easter dress.

The tiny white gloves were so cute on her!

Gramma Charlotte brought Zeke and Lilly some yummy chocolates, and a beautiful Easter book about Jesus.

We had a delicious dinner at Jimmy’s parents’ on Easter. Afterward, there was an egg hunt, and lots of fun playing with cousins!

Hungry, Hungry, Hippos was a big hit!

Fun family day at my sister’s

Saturday, April 23rd, 2011

Last Saturday we went to my sister’s for her son’s 8th birthday, and baptism.

Lilly was so excited when we arrived! (Our new van in the background. We got a Honda Odyssey in February. I know a lot of friends who would never be caught driving a mini van, but it’s my dream car!)

Lilly loved the horses, and especially the baby.

Jimmy brushed the big horses to get them ready to saddle :)

My little cowgirl!

Lilly had to try out each horse :)

Jimmy and 7 others took a long ride into the mountains

They were gone two and a half hours, and Jimmy was very saddle sore for the next few days!

Zeke and I went for a little ride when they got back

Zeke’s pants got dirty because he wanted to go potty outside like the animals.

The new Children’s section of the Church History Museum

Thursday, April 21st, 2011

The Church History Museum downtown changed up their children’s area a few months ago. The new theme will be there for about 18 months. It reminds me of the Discovery Children’s museum, but instead of costing $8.50 per person, it’s free!

Zeke sailing on Nephi’s boat :)

Cute Lilly on the boat, and Zeke in the background “building the boat”.

Zeke liked the matching game, and was pretty good at it!

His favorite thing was the quilting! He kept coming back to this area and didn’t want to leave!

My kids loved playing here just as much as the Discovery Museum, it was a lot of fun!
