Our recent happenings include-
More Jungle Jim’s! Jimmy took Zeke and Lilly to Junlge Jim’s again because they loved it so much!
Xander and I stay home from some outings like on Saturday night, my brother’s band made it to the statewide battle of the bands, and Jimmy took Zeke and Lilly. Lilly absolutely loved it! Jimmy said she screamed, and cheered, and cried almost the whole drive home because she didn’t want to leave after an hour and a half, but Zeke was done :)
Lilly went swimming in her room! She got in her swim diaper, and swim suit, and Jimmy found her in her room like this. She took her doll bathtub and turned it into her very own pool :)
My kids love to feed their baby brother, and now that I’m no longer breastfeeding at all, they get more opportunities to help. Long story short, I got the prescription to increase my milk, but didn’t feel right about taking it, so I didn’t and my milk dwindled so much that Xander was frustrated every feeding because he wasn’t getting much, so for a week now he’s been totally on formula.
I have to always stay close by my little helpers. The other day I heard Xander crying, and I went into my bedroom and found Lilly trying to pull him out over the edge of his bassinet by his head, poor guy. Zeke and Lilly love to kiss, pet, hold, and snuggle Xander all throughout the day. Sometimes he gets loved a little too hard, but I’m happy they love their brother :) He is patient with them, just like baby Lilly was so patient with Zeke, (that is until she turned about 2).
I love to hold our sweet little boy as much as I can. The newborn stage is one of my favorite stages!
We got this cool wrap as a gift, and it’s so comfortable. I can make lunch, do the laundry, play barbies, and trains, all while Xander is snuggled up close. It’s the closest thing to feeling pregnant again, I love it!
I took Jimmy shopping before Xander was born and wanted him to pick out some clothes, he chose some cute ones. This one says “Mommy’s champ” :)
And last of all we’ve been working on starting to finish our yard, I’m very excited about that! Hopefully I’ll have some pictures of the progress soon.
